Undergraduate and Graduate Design Student Info:

The Design Lab does not manage undergraduate degrees, graduate (Ph.D, Masters) degrees, or admissions.

Graduate Student working with the Design Lab: In order to be a graduate student with the Design Lab, you must first apply to be accepted to a UC San Diego graduate program (there currently is not a Design graduate degree offered by UC San Diego). If you are accepted, you will need to identify a Design Lab faculty member as your graduate advisor. You can find faculty contact information on the People in the Lab page.

Design Training & Workshops:

The Design Lab offers Human-Centered Design Thinking non-credited training and workshops to UC San Diego students, external students, and industry professionals. Please go to the Events > Workshops webpage for a list of scheduled trainings.  The Design Lab does not offer credited courses or night classes.
