Graduate Student (Summer)
EnVision Arts and Engineering Maker Studio
The EnVision Arts and Engineering Maker Studio has a joint summer project with Birch Aquarium to design interactive displays for the visiting public. The vision is the San Francisco Exploratorium meets Scripps Institute of Oceanography. One of the projects may be design of outdoor spaces including possibly bioinspired ways to addresses issues of wind, sun, and rain.
We have funding to hire a graduate student for 20 hours a week between July 2nd–September 7th. The graduate students would mentor 10 undergrads through the customer discovery and design process. They would work with Jesse DeWald from EnVision and Dr. Nan Renner from Birch and our Cog. Sci. department.
If you know of any interested grad students, please have them contact Jesse DeWald at, firstname.lastname@example.org
