SHORT TERM PAID OPPORTUNITY with POSSIBLE 1 YEAR EXTENSION
Week of April 5th thru Week of April 26th
The People Centered Automation Group in the UCSD Design Lab and the Contextual Robotics Institute, is seeking 4 spanish-english bilingual undergraduate researchers for a short term project to conduct interviews and analyze the resulting data for an NSF Civic Innovation design proposal effort.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply the Human Centered Design technique developed by our very own People Centered Automation group, known as Day-In-A-Life Interviews.
Interviews with DIAL diagraming will be conducted in two separate outdoor sessions (approx. 3 hours each) at a transit center in Vista, CA. We will host two popup sessions and talk to people as they move through the Vista Transit Station.
A $140.00 stipend will be provided (for 2 interview sessions and travel to and from locations). Students will also have the opportunity to work on the project for a more extended period of time if the proposal is funded (for one year).
- MUST Be Bilingual
- MUST be able to work Week of April 5th and Week of April 12th (We will work on what days work for all)
- MUST be able to participate in two separate Pop-Up quick interviews at two locations in Vis
- Prefer experience/coursework with Interview techniques
