Design for America at UCSD Showcase 2019

On (Thursday, May 30th from 12-2pm), Design for America at UCSD will be having their Final Showcase/Poster Session in Atkinson Hall. Design for America at UCSD is a student organization where interdisciplinary teams of students use human-centered design to create local and social impact.

This year, 50 students across 6 projects teams used human-centered design to tackle these social challenges: Mental Wellness, Housing Insecurity, Medical Accessibility in Tijuana, Education Equity, Accessibility, and Alzheimer’s Disease. They worked with community partners such as the Urban Discovery Academy, International Health Collective, and Triton Software Engineering to co-create solutions to a problem identified within their social challenge space.

Come and stop by to see all the great work the teams have done! Light refreshments and drinks will be served.

Design for America at UCSD is a part of Design for America, a national network of over 36 schools that use human-centered design to create social impact.
