Design at UCSD is bringing to you Design Frontiers: Healthcare, a day-long design sprint and lightning talks focusing on applying human-centered design to the field of healthcare.
We will be having speakers from biotechnology company Illumina, come talk about how design thinking has impacted and improved their healthcare/biotech product development.
After, students will engage in a design sprint, similar to a hackathon/idea-thon, where they will get a chance to work side by side with Illumina designers and engineers, and other industry professionals to think about and tackle the problems existing in the healthcare industry, and get a taste on improving the digital and physical products at Illumina.
