Interactive Kiosks Demos

In DSGN100 Prototyping this quarter, ~70 students on 21 teams created interactive kiosks for health, education, and retail. Come check out their live demos.

Demos:

TechDirect: A kiosk for seamlessly comparing and purchasing from a large selection of home electronics
Medisonic: A self pick-up kiosk for prescriptions at Student Heatlh Services
TechOut: A kiosk that enables students to borrow tech equipment from the Geisel Tech Lending Program
Simplicitea: A kiosk for a simple, quick, and personalized tea experience
Vream: A kiosk for children to engage in hands-on learning experiences at Art Museums
Mission Fresh: A kiosk that sells excess food from the farmer’s market after hours
Navicart: A kiosk and mobile app that assists shoppers to navigate grocery stores
CupEco: A reusable cup rental station that washes and dispenses reusable cups
human kind: A kiosk for homeless shelters to help vulnerable populations gain access to basic needs
Shampour: An eco-friendly shampoo refill kiosk
FoodSight: A kiosk that helps shoppers explore new recipes, find ingredients in-store, and learn product information
Sneak Peek: A kiosk that allows shoppers to visualize sneakers through augmented reality
MedBae: A doctor’s office kiosk that helps kids learn how to be healthy
Retail Reformers: A kiosk to help Forever 21 shoppers more easily find the perfect clothes
Freshpresso: A kiosk for new coffee drinkers to place customized orders
MedStream: A kiosk that streamlines the check-in procedure at Student Health Services
Fraction Frycook: A kiosk for learning fractions through Virtual Reality cooking activities
Black Magic Box: A kiosk that provides a fun and accessible way to buy/educate often stigmatized sex health products
Butt Recycling Bin (BRB): A kiosk for smokers to dispose of cigarette butts and raise awareness on the effects of littering
Foodvengers: A kiosk which allows students to have easy access to free food products from the triton food pantry
Mirror Mirror: A kiosk that helps customers search for clothes and visualize how they look and feel
