Patrick Hadley and Bill Wesley (Array Instruments)

The presentation will be about the design and construction of our instruments and how it’s progressed over 30 years as well as the Array System of note arrangement and how it applies to our original instrument designs. It will also include a brief history on the origins of lamellophones, aka mbiras…A variety of instruments will be on display and played to demonstrate the Array system.

Biography:

Patrick Hadley: Array Instruments business and shop management, marketing, body design and construction and performing and recording artist.

Bill Wesley: Author of Harmony Array Music Theory, inventor of Array instruments, metal part fabrication engineer and performing artist.
