As humanity-centered design can touch any academic discipline, our research teams consist of creative, interdisciplinary groups that bring rigorous design methods and expand design thinking tools to include “design-doing,” addressing the challenges faced by people from all walks of life and in a range of environments.

Design Lab Research Meetings
Research meetings provide a forum for all researchers in the Design Lab to share and learn from each other’s work. They also provide an informal opportunity for researchers to present and gather feedback on their work. On occasion, the lab also hosts researchers from other departments or universities to present.
Research meetings are held every Wednesday, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. during the fall, winter, spring, and summer quarters. View the latest speaker line-up on our calendar.
